Should a Muslim follow the timing of the Adhan (call to prayer) in the mosque closest to his home, or the prayer timing for his city available online, in the event that there are multiple Adhan times for the same mosque within the city?

The time for 'Asr prayer, according to the majority of scholars, is when the shadow of an object becomes equal to its height. According to the Hanafis, it is when the shadow becomes twice its height. The variation in prayer times among mosques may be due to the adopted jurisprudential school of thought. The preponderant opinion is that of the majority. If it is not possible to determine the time by the celestial signs, then one should rely on a timetable, provided certainty or strong presumption of the entry of the time is achieved.
