What is the ruling on one who commits adultery with his daughter while his wife is still alive, and is the children's action of expelling him from the house and disowning him correct?

This act is heinous and rejected by sound human nature. Despite this, the father still has the right to dutifulness and maintaining ties, along with the obligation to advise him, condemn his actions, and prevent him from repeating them. If the father repents and shows remorse, his children must honor him, while the daughters must exercise caution in their interactions with him (not being lenient in revealing themselves before him and avoiding being alone with him). If he does not show signs of repentance and there is fear of him continuing his seduction, then the children must house him in a separate residence, or the daughter should reside with one of her trustworthy mahrams, while continuing to show him dutifulness.
