What is the ruling on marrying another woman when the wife refuses and threatens to commit suicide, knowing that the husband has not been blessed with children due to problems with the wife?

Allah grants to whomever He wills females or males or both, and He makes infertile whomever He wills, and He is the All-Knowing, the All-Powerful. Children are a blessing, and marriage was legislated to obtain them. It is permissible for a man to marry another woman if the first wife has not been blessed with children, on condition of justice and without requiring the first wife's consent. You have two options: patience with your wife and praying to Allah to bless you both with offspring, or marrying another woman, with the possibility of your first wife requesting a divorce or other problems arising. Your wife should be advised that contemplating suicide is a grave sin forbidden by Islam, and its punishment is the Fire, as stated in the texts of the Quran and Sunnah.
