Does the torment of the grave include minor sins or only major ones?

Some scholars hold that the torment of the grave may include minor sins, while others restrict it to major sins only, viewing the trial of the grave for a believer as a purification and expiation for their sins. The torment for minor sins is considered a mercy for the believer and an expiation for them, whereas the torment of the grave for major sins is more severe.
