How is the estate of a grandmother who left behind four daughters, and male and female grandchildren from two deceased sons, to be distributed? And does the compulsory bequest apply to it according to Egyptian law?

If a woman dies leaving four daughters, granddaughters (daughters of her son), and grandsons (sons of her son), then the two-thirds go to the daughters. The remainder goes to the granddaughters and grandsons, with the male receiving the share of two females. A granddaughter or granddaughters do not inherit when there are daughters of the deceased, unless there is a male who makes them residuaries ('asabah). This case does not fall under the category of the mandatory bequest (al-wasiyyah al-wajiba).
