If you doubt your intention to divorce when uttering a kinayah (allusive phrase), nothing is incumbent upon you, because the default is the absence of the intention to divorce until certainty of its existence is achieved. Likewise, divorce does not occur by repeating the kinayah with intention, if done for the purpose of testing and not for the purpose of enacting divorce. It is advised to turn away from doubts concerning divorce and other matters.
