The answer

It is not permissible to work in interest-based banks (ribawi banks) due to the assistance it provides in committing what is forbidden (haram). Allah Almighty says: "And do not cooperate in sin and aggression." The Prophet (peace be upon him) "cursed the one who consumes Riba (interest), the one who feeds it, its two witnesses, and its scribe." Working in customer service in these banks is not permissible because it involves guiding people towards prohibited products. An exception is made for cases of necessity, provided it is estimated according to its extent, and the prohibition returns once the necessity ceases to exist.
