Is the Hadith, "If two Muslims meet with their swords, then the slayer and the slain are in the Hellfire," specific to those who have not repented, such as the slain person who died while intent on killing his companion?

The firm intention to steal is a sin for which its perpetrator is held accountable. However, sincere repentance erases all sins. So, if you repent from your intention to steal, your repentance will remove the burden of this sin from you, for the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "The one who repents from a sin is like one who has no sin."
