Is there a specific time for performing ruqyah, such as after sunrise or after Asr prayer, and what is its correct time and the duration of its effect?

Legal Ruqyah (definition) (exorcism according to Islamic law) is recommended at any time of day or night. The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, and his companions, may Allah be pleased with them, practiced it. It is preferable to seek out times when supplications are answered, such as the last third of the night, because Ruqyah is, in essence, a supplication. Ruqyah is recommended before sleep, as the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, used to do. There is no specific time for Ruqyah to take effect; what is prescribed is for a Muslim to perform Ruqyah upon themselves until they are cured.
