What is the ruling on exchanging gifts or money between women during mutual visits?

It is permissible to give and benefit from a gift. The recipient has the choice: if he wishes, he may return the gift with something of lesser or greater value, or not return it at all, so long as there was no condition or exchange involved. The matter is based on choice and desire.
