Is it obligatory to leave work in non-Islamic banks immediately or after finding an alternative, taking into account financial obligations and experience in the financial field? And is working in investment companies, a portion of whose capital comes from banks, considered permissible? And what should be done with shares owned in a bank?

It is absolutely impermissible to work in usurious banks, even if the work itself is not related to usury, such as security or cleaning, because this constitutes cooperation in sin.

As for working in companies in which a usurious bank is a partner, it is permissible, provided that the work itself is permissible and has no connection to usury. This is because unlawful earnings are forbidden only for the one who earns them.

It is not permissible to buy shares in usurious banks. Whoever owns them must dispose of them by taking back only their principal, and giving away the profits by spending them on charitable and good causes.
