What is the ruling on being named after prophets and angels (peace be upon them) in forums and adopting these names as usernames?

There is no harm in entering forums with pseudonyms. It is also permissible to name children after prophets, which is the preferred view among most scholars. Indeed, the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, named his son Ibrahim. Those who disliked naming children after prophets reasoned that the intention was to safeguard the names of the prophets from being demeaned or spoken of disrespectfully.
