Is it permissible to give zakat to a woman whose legs have been amputated and who needs a device to assist with movement, knowing that her husband is retired and has no other income?

It is permissible to give zakat to a woman who is unable to purchase a medical device and is in need of it. This might even be better than giving it to others, due to the combination of poverty and disability in her case, making her need more urgent than that of a poor person who is not disabled.
