Wearing platinum is permissible for men, even if it is expensive. As for white gold, which is originally yellow gold treated to become white, it is truly gold, and it does not cease to be subject to the rulings of gold, such as the prohibition of unequal exchange when sold for the same kind, and the prohibition of men wearing it.
