The "yamin ghamus" (a false oath taken deliberately) regarding a past event, contrary to what actually happened, is considered one of the major sins. Similarly, transgressing against someone else's account by changing the password is a religiously forbidden sin. These actions are not excused by the swearer's anger or impulsiveness, as long as their sanity remains intact. The yamin ghamus does not require expiation (kaffarah) according to the majority of scholars, due to its gravity.
