It is better for the husband to sleep with his wife in one bed unless he has an excuse. This is not obligatory as long as he fulfills her rights of lodging and intercourse. Their sleeping together is preferable, and this is what the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, used to do, and it brings joy to the wife. It is not permissible to prevent the husband from sleeping with his wife because he sleeps in another bed. One can communicate with him to understand the reason for this.
