What is the ruling on a woman drinking coffee with saffron during her mourning period?

A woman whose husband has died must avoid adornment and perfume during the 'iddah (waiting period) of mourning. Saffron is considered a perfume. If its scent disappears when added to coffee, there is no harm. However, if its scent remains, she must avoid it, as Sheikh Ibn 'Uthaymeen said: "If its scent remains... then it is not permissible for her to drink that... But if the scent has disappeared by cooking it, then there is no harm upon her."
