What are the duties of the congregant (ma'mum)?

The congregant surpasses the person praying alone in one obligation, which is following the Imam. The congregant is distinguished from the person praying alone by two matters:

1. It is obligatory for him to recite Al-Fatiha behind the Imam, whether the prayer is audible or silent, and he should not recite anything else. 2. The Imam bears the forgetfulness of the congregant.
