Is it sufficient for a follower in congregational prayer to merely follow the Imam in his movements without reciting the Quran or glorifying God?

The congregant must follow the Imam in all actions of the prayer. In a silent prayer, the congregant recites Al-Fatiha and other surahs. As for a loud prayer, the congregant recites only Al-Fatiha. The congregant says in bowing (rukūʿ), prostration (sujūd), and tashahhud what an individual praying alone says, except when rising from bowing, where the congregant says: "Rabbana wa laka al-hamd (Our Lord, and to You be all praise)" if the Imam says: "Sami‘a Allahu liman hamidah (Allah hears those who praise Him)."
