Must one who doubted the number of rakʿahs in the ʿAsr prayer, then completed it and paid no attention to his doubt, repeat it? And if he repeats it, is he then required to repeat the Maghrib and ʿIshā’ prayers which he performed thereafter?

The person afflicted with waswas (obsessive doubts) should ignore these doubts and pay no attention to them. If he doubts that he made a mistake in his prayer, he should consider that he did not make a mistake, and he is not required to perform sahv (prostration of forgetfulness) after the prayer. If, after the prayer, doubt assails him that it was incomplete, he should disregard this doubt and not give any attention to the devil's whisperings.
