What is the ruling on dealing with a woman who became pregnant out of wedlock, and should she be shunned or helped?

Adultery is a clear sin and one of the gravest major sins. It is obligatory to advise the adulteress to repent and to warn her against being alone with men. If she repents, she should be treated kindly, and it is impermissible to expose her. If she insists [on her sin], she should be shunned if shunning is beneficial. There is no harm in helping her in ways that do not assist her in disobedience.
