How can one deal with a husband who is addicted to alcohol and has suspicious relationships, knowing that he justifies his actions by being in a foreign land? And should one leave the house or get rid of the forbidden things?

The husband should fear Allah and abandon drinking alcohol due to the corruption it causes, the loss of reason, the squandering of money, and the harm to health. He should remember that he is accountable for his life, his wealth, and his body on the Day of Judgment, and that there is a severe warning for the wine-drinker in this world and the Hereafter, including being made to drink from "tinat al-khabal" (the sweat or discharge of the people of Hellfire).

The wife should offer advice to her husband, warn him of Allah's punishment, and utilize materials that clarify the prohibition of alcohol. She may dispose of the alcohol bottles in the trash if no harm results from it. If advice is ineffective and the husband persists in disobedience, she may threaten to seek a divorce.
