How can one achieve contentment with Allah and apply the verse: "Allah was pleased with them, and they with Him"?

Contentment with Allah is a high station attained by feeling Allah's immense blessings that envelop a person, the greatest of which is the blessing of guidance to the religion, along with sincere faith, righteous deeds, adherence to Allah's commands, avoidance of polytheism and sins, and acceptance of His decree. Allah Almighty has described the foremost pioneers and the pious believers with this quality.
