Is it permissible for a person to take commission in exchange for marketing a clothing store via Facebook? And what is the legitimate way to do so?

Scholars have differed concerning the ruling on working in clothing marketing in exchange for a percentage of the price of each sold item. The majority of scholars do not permit it due to ignorance (of the exact compensation). The transaction can be corrected by specifying a known wage for the marketing. The view of permissibility is considered strong and was favored by Shaykh al-Islam Ibn Taymiyyah, who held that in the case of ju'alah (which is ijarah [leasing/hiring] in its general sense), if the compensation is something that results from the work, then it is permissible for it to be a common share.
