Is it obligatory to divide the Udhiyah equally among the seven participants, or can one participate with any share and take a proportionate amount of the meat? And is there a special virtue in spilling the blood at home, or is it permissible to slaughter at the butcher's?

It is permissible to share in the sacrifice (udhhiyah) of a camel or a cow, and it suffices for seven people. It is also permissible, according to the majority of scholars, to share in its price.

The division must be equal, because what suffices is one-seventh of the camel or cow, and less than that is not sufficient.

It is not a condition to shed the blood at the Kaaba; what is required is merely the act of slaughtering.
