The answer

Satan fears Allah, as stated in the Quran in Allah Almighty's saying: "Indeed, I fear Allah, and Allah is severe in punishment" (Quran 5:2:1), and His saying: "Indeed, I fear Allah, Lord of the worlds" (Quran 59:16). However, this fear is an innate, natural fear that does not prevent him from disobedience. It has also been said that Satan said this falsely, or because he thought that this was the day he was granted respite for.
