Is watching pornography to relieve sexual urges better than committing zina, given that I pray and fear God, and am unable to marry again?

Watching pornography is forbidden by Islamic law, and it is one of the greatest causes of arousal. Whoever resorts to it out of fear of committing adultery is like one who seeks refuge from scorching heat in fire. Therefore, a Muslim must beware of this act, because it is disobedience to Allah Almighty and may lead to other sins, and its perpetrator exposes himself to severe torment on the Day of Judgment. He should strive to find a way to get married or reconcile with his first wife. If that is not possible, then he must fast, for it is a protection against falling into adultery.
