What is the ruling on working in a job obtained through assistance and favoritism, when there are others more deserving and qualified than me?

It appears that applying for this position is not a matter of nepotism, as your previous experience as a male gives you an advantage in the work, and if you are competent for this position, there is no blame upon you for continuing in it.
