What is the interpretation of the problems that occurred during the engagement and marriage of the three sisters, and could the reason be envy (hasad), and what is the solution?

Delayed marriage is not necessarily due to magic (sihr) or envy (hasad), and there is no harm in seeking ruqyah (Islamic exorcism/healing), but one should not dwell excessively on the belief of being afflicted by magic or envy. The Muslim woman and her family should endeavor to present her to suitors who possess religious commitment and good character, and it is advisable to reduce the dowry (mahr). The best way to achieve one's need is through supplication (du'a) and seeking help through prayer (salat), and by staying away from sins that deprive one of provision and chastity. For whoever abandons the unlawful seeking the countenance of Allah, Allah will facilitate for them what is lawful.
