It is permissible to receive financial compensation for placing advertisements on video clips under certain conditions: that the subscription is free, the compensation is known, and the advertisements are permissible and do not include anything forbidden or promote it. This is based on the Almighty's saying: "And cooperate in righteousness and piety, but do not cooperate in sin and aggression," and the Prophet's (peace be upon him) saying: "And whoever calls to misguidance, he will have sin upon him like the sins of those who follow him." Notifying viewers is not sufficient due to the lack of guarantee of compliance and the entry of unlawful money through the dissemination of forbidden things.
