Is diligence and striving in acts of obedience for the sake of this world or the Hereafter?

Repentance is a great blessing. Piety and obedience to Allah bring sustenance, while disobedience brings poverty. One must monitor sincerity in deeds so that they are purely for the sake of Allah, avoiding self-admiration and showing off. There is no harm in seeking the good of this world and the Hereafter together, as Allah Almighty said: "And whoever fears Allah – He will make for him a way out And will provide for him from where he does not expect." Do not succumb to the whispers of Satan that you are not sincere.
