Can the slain appear at the place of their killing?

The claim that a slain person comes out to people at the place of their killing is false, and it is a matter of the pre-Islamic era (Jahiliyyah). The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, forbade "Al-Hammah," which the people of Jahiliyyah believed to be the soul of the slain person emerging from their head and demanding vengeance. The soul of the deceased goes to its Lord, either to be blessed or punished, and it sometimes connects with the body. When the Hour comes, souls will return to their bodies. What some people imagine about the appearance of the slain is a trick of Satan to confuse people about their religion and cause discord.
