Uttering an oath of divorce by slip of the tongue, without intention, does not bring about divorce. Similarly, if you intentionally utter the words but believe that those against whom the oath is made possess bad qualities, then divorce does not occur, even if the opposite becomes clear. One must be cautious not to habituate oneself to swearing by divorce or uttering obscene words.
