What is the ruling regarding a wife remaining in her husband's home after separation due to his refusal to pray, her demanding financial support and compensation for the duration of the marriage, and her refusal to return to her family?

If a woman is divorced and her iddah (waiting period) has expired, she is not entitled to maintenance or housing from her husband. He is not obliged to arrange medical care for her or compensate her for her previous work, unless she spent on him with the intention of returning to him. He may, however, voluntarily provide maintenance or housing out of his own goodwill. If she is a custodian of children and has no dwelling, then housing for her is obligatory. It is permissible for her to reside in the husband's house, provided that her dwelling unit, including its facilities, is independent, so that she can feel secure and avoid unlawful seclusion (khalwah).
