Is it permissible to supplicate for seeing Paradise in a dream, and to supplicate for a specific girl to be my wife?

A Muslim is permitted to supplicate for any good, both in this world and the hereafter. This includes supplicating to Allah to grant him the vision of Paradise in a dream, to marry a specific girl, and to see signs or glad tidings regarding that. However, supplicating to know whether she will be his wife or not is considered an تجاوز (transgression) in supplication, because it is an attempt to inquire about the unseen.
