Can jinn or devils harm human beings, possess them, and enter their bodies, and can they know what goes on in their minds without it being uttered, and what is the Shar'i evidence for that?

It has been established that a jinn can possess a human, and may harm them with blows or otherwise if the human harms them (the jinn), or simply out of mischief. This harm, however, only occurs with Allah's permission and decree. As for knowing what is in a human's mind without them uttering it, this is from the Unseen, which none knows save Allah. The jinn eavesdrop on the heavens and convey a word to their allies, the soothsayers, who then add lies to it.
