How can one get rid of books of sorcery found in the home?

The two aforementioned books contain matters of magic and astrology, and are full of innovated incantations, numbers, talismans, and strange methods for practicing magic and making amulets. Therefore, they must be disposed of by burning or burying them. The Hadith of Aisha indicates the permissibility of undoing magic and burying it to nullify its effect. The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, ordered its burial out of fear of temptation for the people, so that people would not see it and learn it.
