Is it permissible to recite the entire Surah Al-Kahf during the Dhuhr prayer on Friday?

If the questioner is one upon whom Jumu'ah prayer is obligatory, then he must attend it and is not required to pray Dhuhr. However, if he is one from whom Jumu'ah prayer is excused, or if he is in a place where it is not obligatory, then either he is alone and has not made it a habit, in which case there is no harm in him praying as mentioned. Or he is an Imam and does not know if his congregation approves of prolonging the prayer, in which case he should not recite it for fear of prolonging it, because it is desirable for the Imam to be brief, according to the hadith of Mu'adh: "Do you want to be a trial (fatana), O Mu'adh?! If you lead the people in prayer, then recite 'Ash-Shams' and its likes, and 'Glorify the Name of your Lord, the Most High,' and 'Read in the Name of your Lord,' and 'By the night when it covers.'"
