Is it obligatory to abstain from applying nail polish if it cannot be completely removed from the sides of the nails due to the nature of the fingers, despite diligent effort to remove it as much as possible?

There is a difference of opinion among jurists regarding the ruling on a slight barrier. Ibn Taymiyyah held the view that the presence of a slight coating does not harm, especially if its removal is difficult. One must strive to remove it as much as possible, and Allah does not burden a soul beyond its capacity. It appears that a woman is not obligated to refrain from using this coating for adornment for her husband, as there is hardship and difficulty in abstaining from it.
