Are the nail polishes women apply to their nails considered to be in violation of Sharia?

There is no harm in nail polish, unless it leads to deception or fraud, or the intention of imitating immoral women or disbelievers, or if it is made of forbidden materials. It must be removed before every ablution or ghusl if it prevents water from reaching the nails.
