What is the ruling on praying in clothes that have fallen onto the ground of the house's courtyard after being taken out of the washing machine and spread, knowing that people walk barefoot on this ground, and are these clothes considered wet or damp after the washing machine dries them?

Perhaps you are afflicted with obsessive whispers (waswasah). We caution you against them and advise you to turn away from them and not pay them any attention, for giving in to obsessive whispers leads to great evil. Know that the default state of things is purity, and that doubt about impurity has no effect. Therefore, the courtyard of the house is pure, and consequently, if clothes fall into it, whether wet or dry, it does not make them impure. Thus, prayer in them is valid, Allah willing. As for ablution (wudu'): the purity of clothing is not a condition for it in the first place.
