What should one do who has been accepted to study at the Islamic University of Madinah for a second time, and fears a repeat of the feelings of loneliness and fear that overcame him during the first acceptance, which led him to return to his home country?

We advise you to cast away fear and loneliness, and to be keen on seeking sacred knowledge and residing in Medina, for it is a land of security. Neither plague nor the Dajjal will enter it, and angels guard it. The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, encouraged dwelling there and promised intercession for whoever dies there patiently. Know that seeking knowledge requires patience and hardship. The university will cover your study and accommodation expenses, and you will be among a group of students. You can request to bring your wife or get married there to avoid loneliness.
