Uttering the Two Testimonies (Shahadatayn) at the time of death: "Whoever’s last words are ‘La ilaha illa Allah (There is no god but Allah)’ will enter Paradise." Dying with a sweaty brow: "The believer dies with sweat on his brow," which is the intensity of death for the expiation of sins or for an increase in rank. Dying on Friday or its eve: "No Muslim dies on Friday or the night of Friday except that Allah protects him from the trial of the grave." Martyrdom in the battlefield: For one who fought so that the word of Allah would be supreme. "And never think of those who have been killed in the cause of Allah as dead. Rather, they are alive with their Lord, receiving provision." Dying from certain diseases or accidents: "The plague-stricken is a martyr, the drowned is a martyr, the one who dies under a collapsing building is a martyr, the one who dies of pleurisy is a martyr, the one who dies from burning is a martyr, and the woman who dies during childbirth is a martyr." Dying in defense of one's wealth, honor, and self: "Whoever fights in defense of his wealth and is killed is a martyr, whoever fights in defense of his blood (life) is a martyr, and whoever fights in defense of his family is a martyr." Dying while stationed (Ribat) in the path of Allah: His reward for his deeds and provision continues, and he is protected from the tempters. Dying while performing a righteous deed: "Indeed, the dweller of Paradise will have his life concluded with the deeds of the people of Paradise, no matter what deeds he performed."

Whoever's life concludes with one of these signs is hoped for to receive the mentioned good and reward.
