Is the wife held responsible for not obeying her husband's request to object to her father and brother for not providing her with financial assistance, and is the husband considered unjust if he divorces her?

A Muslim is characterized by chastity and contentment, and safeguards his dignity from asking people, as stated in the Hadith: "For one of you to gather a bundle of firewood on his back is better for him than to ask someone who may give him or deny him," and "The upper hand is better than the lower hand."

It is not permissible for a man to ask his wife to ask her father or brother for money, because this is not considered a good deed, and obedience to the husband is only in what is good and permissible.

It is not permissible to divorce the wife for her refusal to ask her father, as this is not a legitimate reason for divorce. Some scholars have even gone to the extent of prohibiting divorce without a valid reason.
