A woman should not seek divorce because her husband lied about the existence of his parents, unless there is a compelling legal, mental, health, or social reason, especially if the husband has not shown anything that blemishes his character or religion.
The Prophetic warns against a woman who seeks divorce without cause, stating that the scent of Paradise will be forbidden to her. The existence of the husband's parents does not harm the wife nor does it give her the right to seek divorce.
The advice for the wife is to be patient, give her husband a chance, and forgive him. The advice for the husband is to repent from lying, for it is a grave sin, and the discord of his wife might be an immediate punishment for him.
