What are the jinn's mounts and their characteristics, what are the jinn's characteristics and what do they eat, and why do the jinn need mounts?

The jinn are composite bodies and represented persons. Among them are those who are like wind; they do not eat, drink, or procreate, while some do procreate. They are of three types: one type has wings and flies, another type consists of snakes and scorpions, and a third type settles and travels. They can take the forms of black dogs and black cats, and may appear in human form, as happened with Iblis on the day of Badr. They eat with people if Allah's name is not mentioned over the food, and they eat from bones after humans, and from the plants of the earth. Their animals eat dung and the plants of the earth. A Muslim protects himself from them by remembering Allah.
