The Eid prayer has neither nor Iqama, nor is it announced with the call: "As-salatu Jami'ah" (prayer is congregational), based on the of Jabir ibn Abdullah, may Allah be pleased with him. Some scholars have permitted announcing it with "As-salatu Jami'ah" by analogy with the eclipse prayer, but this analogy is not given credence as it contradicts the established of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him.
