What is the ruling on treating restless infants by performing small surgical incisions on their foreheads, and then sucking out the small amount of blood that results from that?

What this woman does, injuring children and sucking their blood, is an act of forbidden sorcery, because she injures children without benefit and consumes impure blood, which is forbidden by the text of the Qur'an: "Forbidden to you are carrion and blood." And because blood is impure, it is not permissible to use it for treatment or for any other purpose, due to the general Ahadith prohibiting treatment with unlawful and impure things, such as the Hadith: "Indeed, Allah has sent down the disease and the cure, and He has made a cure for every disease, so seek treatment, but do not seek treatment with unlawful things." And the saying of Ibn Mas'ud regarding intoxicants: "Indeed, Allah has not made your cure in what He has forbidden to you."
