Is it permissible to promise marriage to a married woman, and is it obligatory to help her if she requests divorce from her husband who does not pray and forces her to attend mixed gatherings, and is her marriage contract to this husband valid?

First: Regarding a woman's marriage to someone who abandons prayer, the majority of scholars hold that the marriage is valid if he does not deny its obligation. She has the right to seek divorce due to his transgression and the harm she suffers from him. However, it is preferable for her not to rush and to advise him instead.

Second: It is not permissible for you to promise her marriage as long as she is still married, as this constitutes incitement against her husband, which is forbidden.

Third: A wife must obey her husband in marital relations and should not refuse except for a legitimate Shar'i excuse. She is permitted to shun her husband if he is oppressive.

Finally, you must completely cut off your relationship with the woman.
