What is the ruling regarding a woman refraining from prayer for two months after a surgical operation due to her inability to perform ghusl with water, and must she make up those prayers, knowing that she was only prevented from using water for ghusl and not for other uses? Is her making up of the missed prayers after each current prayer valid?

Prayer is not waived for a Muslim as long as they are conscious. If one is unable to perform a pillar or a condition, they should perform it to the best of their ability. What the woman did by abandoning prayer due to the unavailability of water for ghusl is not permissible. Rather, it was obligatory for her to perform wudu' if she had not incurred a major ritual impurity, or to perform tayammum if she had, or if wudu' would harm her. She must immediately make up the missed prayers, except for the days of her menstrual cycle.
